End of Love
website has been taken down, a reflection of where this project stands at this point.
The hope was to create a feature documentary about the intersection of Internet pornography, the developing adolescent brain, and the criminal justice system, told through the stories of a few young men and their families. This teaser represents some of our thinking about the issue and served to share I ideas. The two clips below are character studies that start to flesh out a style for the film.

Ultimately this film remains unfinished. Not included on this page is a 20-minute character study with 4 short introductory portraits that has been shown at conferences. Despite the fact that this film never materialized in the form we envisioned, I am proud of the work and advocacy that went into the development process.

The film was started as a collaborative effort with Alexandra Halkin (co-director). Fenell Doremus (producer) helped significantly for several years. I credit both of them as full partners to the point the film is now. Progress on the film lay fallow for several years as we struggled with how to move forward with such a difficult and sensitive topic. In June 2019, I presented a work-in-progress scene at a documentary film retreat. The feedback I received was encouraging. I remain open to considering further work on this topic.
